Song! Intro! Challenge! #2 - Results

Thanks to everyone who participated in this week's Song! Intro! Challenge! It was a down-to-the-wire face-off, but one team has emerged victorious. Here are the standings, from least correct responses to most correct:

In Sixth Place: K.T. with 18 correct answers.
In Fifth Place: Amanda with 22 correct answers. (Amanda entered via e-mail.)
In Fourth Place: Dave & Stacey with 39 correct.
In Third Place: Brooke & Katie with 40 correct.
In Second Place: Sacha & Bill with 44 correct (45 with the correction at 11:13pm on Sat, 6/6)
In First Place: Jon & Jenny with 45 correct (at 11:06pm on Sat, 6/6)

NOW. Three things to remember:
  1. The judges' decision is final, so let it go. (This includes allowing "Jump Jive an' Wail" by Brian Setzer Orchestra for answer #7, even though, technically, it's the original -- or, at least, a more original, "Jump Jive an' Wail" by Louis Prima.)
  2. The first prize is a ten-dollar thing, so no big whoop.
  3. Everyone who entered gets an e-mail, coming soon, with a super-secret link to me doing the "Hoedown Throwdown." Watch for your e-mail soon. Be advised that I will likely be placing the video here on the blog some time later this week, so if you want to feel like you're getting the special sneak preview (and also to make sure that The Mouse doesn't cripple my creative license with their lawyers), you'll want to click that link and watch it quickly.
Thanks to everyone for playing. Check back here at 7pm EDT on Saturday for another Song! Challenge! of some sort! (Oooh, did you pick up on that? It might not be Song! Intro! Challenge!)

See ya Saturday at 7pm EDT!
